PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a jig for a device for orienting the direction of a transmission line failure capable of safely executing wiring work on CT lead wires installed on overhead ground wires. SOLUTION: The jig for a device for orienting the direction of a transmission line failure is comprised of a jig provided with two needle-shaped protrusions (pins) conducting to each other and capable of short-circuiting two vinyl wires which constitute the CT lead wires when wiring from the CT terminal part of a current detector installed on the overhead ground wires, which is a device to detect an induced current by CT and to transmit the current information to a failure direction orienting device via an electricity-light converting device, to the terminal board of an electricitylight converting device by CT lead wires. By using such a short-circuiting jig, it is possible to make an open-circuit voltage which occurs at the ends of the CT lead wires when the CT lead wires are connected zero volt. It is preferable that the needle-shaped protrusions (pins) are fixed to a seating and that the locations in the seating at which the needle-shaped protrusions are fixed are provided with groove for setting the vinyl wires in the CT lead wires. |
