AMMONIA INJECTION METHOD AND DEVICE THEREFOR IN BOILER EXHAUST GAS TREATMENT EQIPMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ammonia injection method and a device therefor in a boiler exhaust gas treatment equipment capable of injecting an appropriate amount of ammonia by grasping SO3 concentration distribution in a duct at the upper flow side of an electric dust collector, reducing an operation cost and an equipment cost by reducing unreacted ammonia and being useful in preventing environment pollution. SOLUTION: The ammonia injection method is characterized by continuously measuring SO3 concentration at plural points in the duct 5 of the upper side of an electric dust collector 3 by a SO3 densitometer 6 and injecting a corresponding amount of ammonia in accordance with the SO3 concentration distribution from an ammonia injection nozzle 7 to the corresponding points in the duct 5.
