PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic equipment whose screen is partially covered by its fixed part at the closed position. SOLUTION: This electronic equipment is formed of two case body parts, and one of those parts is formed so as to be integrated with a housing type screen occupying a first position called a closed position and a second position called an opened position where the whole screen is made visible. A part of the screen is made visible as it is at the closed position, and the remaining part of the screen is covered by the second part of the case body. For example, the other elements such as a microphone and a keyboard are supported by the second case body part. This portable telephone is made usable with the Internet (WAP) as for its use.
