PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a moving picture generator that can efficiently generate moving picture data by data whose generation and edit are facilitated. SOLUTION: A moving picture generating section 2 acquires a still picture file 11 and a character file 12 stored in a storage device 1, allows a data interpreter section 21 to interpret the files, a file name decomposition section 22 decomposes the interpreted file name into parameters as attribute data, an operation interpretation section 23 interprets operation contents with respect to respective still picture data and character data on the basis of each decomposed parameter, and a moving picture assembling section 24 applies processing to operation contents of the respective still picture data and character data to generate moving picture data.
