<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a protector from slipping off from an exterior component such as over-fender before its being mounted on a vehicle body despite a change in the environment, while the working easiness to mount the exterior component and the protector and also a rise of the cost is avoided. SOLUTION: A protector mounting structure includes a protector 30 for blocking the gap generated between an vehicle body and a body exterior component to be mounted thereon (for example, an over-fender 10) and the protector 30 is to be mounted previously on the component joining side 14 relative to the vehicle body using the exterior component, wherein coupling holding means (for example, holder parts 18 and 36) to establish coupling when they are hitched together, are formed on the exterior component and protector 30 on their sides to be mounted together.</p> |
