PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical resolution agent synthesizable from a disaccharide compound. SOLUTION: The optical resolution agent is composed of a derivative obtained by substituting a part or total of 1 to 7 hydroxyl groups of a disaccharide compound expressed by general formula (1) with acyl group having 4-30 atoms, carbamoyl group having 4-30 atoms and/or alkyl or arylalkyl group having 4-30 atoms and a carrier having a functional group and chemically bonded to the remaining hydroxyl group of the disaccharide derivative. |
