PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a desired shape of the surface of a resin film provided by coating on a screen, when a plate for screen printing is manufactured by a direct method excellent in plate wear. SOLUTION: A photosensitive resin emulsion is applied on one surface of the screen in a process 24 of applying the resin emulsion. A film having a flat surface is stuck on the surface of the resin emulsion in a process 36 of sticking the film, before the emulsion is dried, and the film is pressed thereon in a process 40 of pressing the film. After the resin emulsion is dried, the film is peeled off in a process 52 of removing the film. Therefore one surface of the resin film produced by subjecting the resin emulsion to exposure and development thereafter is a surface of high flatness obtained by inverting the surface shape of the above film. |
