PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide agrochemical particles which are hardly pulverized or collapsed, and to provide coated agrochemical granules whose release function is scarcely caused by a coating operation. SOLUTION: The agrochemical particle comprises an agrochemical ingredient, a highly water-absorbing resin and a binde, and has a circularity coefficient of >=0.7 determined by the following expression: circularity coefficient=(4π×projected particle area)/(length of the outline of particle projection chart)2. The coated agrochemical granule obtained by coating the surfaces of the agrochemical particles with a coating material.
