PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power window driving controller which has a simple constitution, can be manufactured inexpensively, and can quickly detect pinched foreign matters with high accuracy. SOLUTION: When foreign matters are pinched, a switching device 110 limits a load current, namely, the torque of a PW motor 102 by repetitively turning on/off a main control FETQA by means of a driving circuit 111. When the difference between the drain-source voltage of the main control FETQA and a first reference voltage (VDSB) exceeds a first prescribed value set by means of a diode clamp circuit, and the output of a comparator CMP1 becomes a low level, the circuit 111 turns off the main control FETQA. When the drain- source voltage of the FETQA increases and the output of the comparator CMP1 becomes a high level, the circuit 111 turns on the FETQA. |
