PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a person who is planning to purchase a commodity and considering the purchase of a commodity on the way, with commodity information including advertisement information related to the requested commodity by a commodity information provider after easily specifying the commodity. SOLUTION: The commodity information provider previously inputs commodity information and commodity codes used for bar code processing or the like of commodity related to the commodity information and stores them as a commodity information data file in an operating server. A commodity information recipient inputs the commodity code to a portable telephone set and transmits it to the operating server. The server retrieves and outputs the commodity information related to the commodity code, using the stored commodity information data file and transmits it to the portable telephone set. The portable telephone set receives the commodity information, and outputs and displays it. |
