PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a document distribution method and a document distribution server device to offer document data which have not been objects for selling and buying through a conventional network, as contents through a network. SOLUTION: A document contributor 1 transmits document data to a document control center 2 through a network. In this case, the document contributor 1 is required to be registered in the document control center 2. The document control center 2 examines closely the contents of a manuscript and a treatise and decides if they are proper for distribution by an Internet, for instance if they are not against public orders and morals. Then, they are converted to a prescribed format in response to a demand for distribution and are distributed to various destinations through the Internet. A school 3, an enterprise 4, a library 5, a general user 6, and a general user 7 are considered as destinations for distribution. |
