PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for adjusting dielectric antenna with which a desired characteristic can be obtained easily, and to provide a small-sized dielectric antenna. SOLUTION: The dielectric antenna 10 is constituted by arranging conductors 12a-12h constituting an antenna element 12, which turns into an F-type antenna on the external surface of a dielectric substrate 11 and setting a first adjusting area 13 in the conductor 12a, so that the length of the conductor 12a between a terminal conductor 16 which becomes a feeding point and an earth terminal 15 may be adjusted and a second adjusting area 14 in the conductor 12h, so that the overall length of the antenna element 12 may be adjusted. When the conductor 12a is cut off in the first adjusting area 13, the feeding point impedance of the antenna 10 can be improved and the resonance frequency of the antenna 10 can be lowered, and when the conductor 12h is cut off in the second adjusting area 14, the resonance frequency of the antenna 10 can be increased. |
