PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating application method for a solvent which can suppress the trouble which arises when the solvent is applied by rollers to ceramic green sheets, and a method for manufacturing a base board. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the base board 1 made of ceramics by laminating the plural ceramic green sheets 51 and firing the laminate has a solvent coating application process step of applying the solvent 91 by a pair of coating application rollers 83, or the like, to the ceramic green sheets 51, or the like. In this solvent coating application process step, the solvent 91 is applied plural times in different directions to the ceramics green sheets 51, or the like, having an opening, such as an opening 55 for a cavity. |
