LINING PIPE AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lining pipe having excellent chemical resistance, heat resistance and durability. SOLUTION: A lining layer 2 consisting of a norbornene polymer is formed on the inner peripheral surface of a steel pipe or cast iron pipe 1. A resin component essentially consisting of a norbornene monomer and a metathesis polymerization catalyst as essential components is sealed into the steel pipe (or cast iron pipe) and is cured while the steel pipe is rotated in a circumferential direction to line the inner peripheral surface of the pipe with a norbornene polymer or the resin component essentially consisting of the norbornene monomer and the metathesis polymerization catalyst as the essential components is introduced into a gap formed by setting a concentric inner die into the steel pipe and is cured and integrated with the steel pipe and thereafter the concentric inner die is removed, by which the lining pipe is obtained.
