<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the structure of a belt tension control mechanism by reducing the number of parts and to further ensure and simplify also the control of the belt tension control mechanism. SOLUTION: Each gear 39, 40 does not revolve since gears 36, 37, 45 and 43 rotate in a belt winding direction CCW, each of the gears 39 and 40 rotates in a belt drawing direction CW and a gear 44 rotates in the direction CW by driving a motor 10. Also the gear 36 rotates by rotation of the gear 37 and a gear 46 is moved in an axis direction because axial force is applied to the gear 46 since helical gears are engaged in a gear 37a and the gear 46. As a result, a plunger 47 is operated, a locking lever 49 is rotated, the locking lever 49 is engaged to ratchet teeth 44b of the gear 44 and rotation of the gear 44 is prevented. Since the gears 39 and 30 revolve in the direction CW, a carrier 38 rotates in the direction CCW and a reel rotates in the direction CCW, a seat belt 3 is wound and belt tension is increased and controlled.</p> |
