PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable telephone set, capable of deciding a fault regarding the fundamental performance level of radio equipment in a portable telephone set body. SOLUTION: The portable telephone set comprises a controller 7, an error rate detector 15 and a transmission power detector 12 for respectively detecting a reception input level, an error rate and a transmission power, a fault deciding controller 25 for deciding the fault based on fault decision data detected by these detecting means, and a display unit 5 for displaying its fault decision result. |
