<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device having a double-sided function selectively in compliance with user's desire and capable of minimizing its width direction size. SOLUTION: A double-sided unit 26 having the double-sided function is attached to the right side of a device main body 1 instead of a carrying unit only used for one-sided image formation. Guide plates 5b, 5d, 5f and 5h which are either ones out of pairs constituting a paper carrying path 2, and either resist roller 3a and either carrying roller 4a out of pairs are respectively attached to the device main body 1 side. The other guide plates 5a, 5c, 5e and 5g, and the other resist roller 3b and the other carrying roller 4 are respectively attached to the unit 26 side. Furthermore, the unit 26 is provided with a paper resupply path 20 for receiving paper after passing through an image forming part and carrying the paper whose one side is reversed to the other to the image forming part again.</p> |
