The furniture arrangement involves at least one lowerable leg (5) fitted on a rotatable shaft (4) forming part of the furniture. A lock pin (14) is fitted on the shaft and a lock fixture is fitted in the furniture for working in conjunction with the lock pin. The lock fixture comprises a fixation part, a sprung pressure plate (17) and a gap between the pressure plate and the fixation part for receiving the lock pin. One surface of the lock pin is downwardly bevelled in the area which works in conjunction with the lock fixture. The shaft is so fitted in relation to the lock fixture and the plane of the furniture that the lock pin in the locked position forms an angle (v1) with the plane of the furniture which is greater than 90 degrees, preferably approximately 91 degrees. The leg forms with the locked position of the lock pin an angle (v2) with the furniture plane which is 91-99 degrees, preferably approximately 94 degrees. |
