The damaged terminal of the pole lead is sheared off due to the use of the carbon electrode connected to the storage battery lead through wire. The electrode s kept by flat-nosed pliers. A precast pole lead is laid from the top on the pole lead to be repaired and welded around the edges; to this end, the battery casing is turned in the longitudinal and transverse planes.
