<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the efficiency of the process from recovery of livestock excreta to formation of compost and to form the good-quality compost. SOLUTION: The excreta are recovered by a truck 11 and the weight thereof is measured by a truck scale 12 in receiving cargo and the top surface height of the excreta in a container 20 is detected by a contactless sensor 14. The measured value, etc., are sent to a monitor personal computer 15, by which the weight and volume of the excreta themselves are determined and a moisture content is calculated. Further, the monitor personal computer 15 computes the amount of the additives to be charged from the calculated moisture content and maintains the adequate moisture content by feeding additives to the excreta according to the computed amount and thereafter the excreta are fermented, by which the good-quality compost is obtained.</p> |
