PURPOSE: An electric energy storing device made of a roll of laminated strips and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to reliably prevent the wire breaking in electric connections and to improve the quality of electric connection with electric connection terminals. CONSTITUTION: A device comprises a roll(2) of a plurality of substantially cylindrically rolled strips including one or more conductive strips. The side of the roll(2) is defined by cylindrical side faces, and the lengthwise ends are defined by two opposite end faces including edges(2B,2C) of the conductive strip(2). At least one of the edges(2B,2C) of at least one conductive strip has a plurality of teeth(5) which are disposed on at least one of the end faces to form one or more assemblies laminated in a specified direction approximately vertical to the contact surface of the cylindrical side face of the device, and constitute groups of a plurality of members(5) electrically connecting to terminals. At this time, each member(5) is extended in a conductive state with the conductive strip(2) having this member.
