PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a back plate mounting structure of a desk capable of easily mounting a back plate of the desk with high positioning accuracy, and providing a flat desk top as a result. SOLUTION: Connecting members 5 respectively comprising a lateral projecting part 16 projecting to a side part through a side flange 6 of the back plate 4, and an upward projecting part 13 mounted on an upper face of a forwardly extension part 12 are mounted on left and right upper end parts of the back plate 4, the lateral projecting part 16 is engaged with an engagement hole 9 formed on a side plate 1a of a top support 1, and the upward projecting part 13 is engaged with an engagement hole 21 formed on a lower face of the top 2 to hold the top support 1, the back plate 4 and the top 2 at relative positions.
