摘要 PURPOSE: A method and a system for controlling fuel in an acceleration are provided to properly supply fuel depending on the state of an engine by promptly changing the value of a feedback gain, and to reduce the amount of exhaust gas and to improve output in an acceleration by additionally supplying fuel when a lean supply period is longer than a predetermined period. CONSTITUTION: A system for controlling fuel in an acceleration includes a vehicle speed detecting unit, an engine rpm detecting unit, a throttle valve opening degree detecting unit, an oxygen sensor to detect the amount of the oxygen contained in the exhaust gas, an injector to supply fuel to the engine, and an engine control unit to control the amount of fuel by driving the injector. A basic compensatory amount is calculated based on the data detected by the detecting units(S220). If an I-gain is out of a predetermined range, the I-gain and a P-gain are modulated(S240). The stay time of the inverted output of the oxygen sensor is calculated(S245). If the stay time of the inverted output of the oxygen sensor is over a predetermined time, the additional amount of fuel is calculated(S255). A long-term compensatory amount if calculated if the I-gain is within the predetermined amount(S260). A total acceleration fuel amount is calculated based on the long-term compensatory amount(S270). The injector is driven by using the total acceleration fuel amount.
