PURPOSE: A stay rod fixing structure of a vehicle engine hood is provided to automatically expand a stay rod for stably supporting the engine hood when a user opens the engine hood, and prevent the movement of the stay rod after the expansion until the user manually folds the stay rod, thereby preventing the safety accident due to the unintentional closing of the engine hood. CONSTITUTION: A stay rod fixing structure of a vehicle engine hood includes a bracket mounted at a side of an inner panel of the engine hood(11) for fixing an end of the stay rod(13) rotatably, a stay rod grasping element(20) mounted in the middle of a side of the inner panel for maintaining a predetermined interval from the bracket, and a fixing element(30) mounted to a fender panel(15) of the inner panel for fixing the other end of the stay rod.
