<p>PURPOSE: To effectively detect a jammed ticket in also a plural sheets corresponding type automatic ticket gate by performing the display of a jammed ticket by discriminating the display from the display of other tickets when the ticket decided as the jammed ticket by a decision means exists. CONSTITUTION: Suppose that three-in-a-set passenger tickets (1) to (3) are inserted from an insertion port 1, the tickets (1) and (2) up to the second sheet are held in a middle stage holding carrier path 4b and a lower stage holding carrier path 4c and the ticket (3) of the third sheet is jammed in the parts of magnetic heads H1 and H2 . By the generation of a jammed ticket, a controller c sets the body (a) of the detector to a stop mode, a door is closed and the passings of users are prevented. The controller c displays the cause that the body (a) is abnormally stopped on a display screen. In this case, the effect that the cause of the abnormal stoppage of the body a is the generation of the jammed ticket is displayed and the holding location of the passenger ticket which is being held in the body (a) is displayed. In this display, the passenger tickets which are normally held and the jammed ticket are displayed by discriminating them.</p> |
