PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject composition quickly soluble in wash water and exhibiting an excellent cleaning power by using a specific nonionic surfactant at a specific ratio and adjusting the ratio of the content of a specific silica compound to that of a non-soap anionic surfactant to a specific level. SOLUTION: This composition can be produced by compounding (A) 10-40 wt.% of a nonionic surfactant containing 50-100 wt.% of an EO.PO-addition nonionic surfactant produced by adding ethylene oxide at an average addition molar number of 4-10 and propylene oxide(PO) at an average addition molar number of 0.2-5 and an EO/PO molar ratio of (1-10)/1 to a 10-18C saturated and/or unsaturated straight and/or branched-chain alcohol, (B) a silica-based compound having an oil-absorption of 80-800 mL/100 g in conformity to JIS K 6220 at a B/(total nonionic surfactant,) molar ratio of 1/(6-1) and (C) <=10 wt.% of a non-soap anionic surfactant (e.g. anα-sulfofatty acid salt). |
