PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an illuminating light source for a light guide, where the light source is has a life, eliminating long lamp exchanging work, the light source can be manufactured at low cost comparatively and sufficienty amounts of light can be obtained in spite of its small size and the shape of a casing may be changed freely according to the installation space. SOLUTION: This illuminating light source has the first substrate 130 retaining the first light emitting diode group 131 arranged in a ring around a light output hole where light emitting parts are put toward the same surface side, an then a noncircular concave mirror 150 is arranged in the position against the first substrate 130 so that the focus of the mirror is adjusted on the position of the light output hole. In the back of the concave mirror 150, the second substrate 140 rotating the second light emitting diode group 141 is arranged. The light emitted from the first light emitting diode 131 is reflected on the concave mirror and condensed on a optical fiber connector 181, and then the light emitted from the second light emitting diode group 141 is directly condensed on the optical fiber connector 181 passing through a hole 151 set in the center of the concave mirror 150. An optical fiber cable of the light guide is connected to the optical fiber connector 181. |
