PURPOSE:To appropriately control the guidance starting timing of a guide system in accordance with objects to be guided and the running speed of a vehicle. CONSTITUTION:The guide system is provided with a guiding data storing means 3 which stores guiding data for guiding objects existing along the road, roads and areas, guide outputting means 7-9 which outputs guides on objects to be guided, present location detecting means 5 which detects or traces the present location of its own vehicle, car speed detecting means 5 which detects the running speed of the vehicle, and guiding data outputting means 6 which reads out guiding data from the storing means 3 based on the present location and outputs the guiding data to the outputting means 7-9. The storing means 3 stores guiding data together with the information about the objects to be guided. The guide data outputting means 6 sets a guide starting point based at least on the speed of its own vehicle detected by the detecting means 5 and the information about the objects to be guided. |
