DEVICE AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING VACUUM REFRIGERATOR

PURPOSE: A device and method for controlling vacuum refrigerator are provided to prevent oxidation of stored food by discharging air in a food storage compartment. CONSTITUTION: A refrigerator includes a vacuum chamber(30), placed on a cold air passage(1) and having a space to store food; a vacuum pump(40) discharging air in the vacuum chamber to outside; and a control device, controlling the vacuum pump to keep vacuum of the vacuum chamber constantly. The control device includes a pressure detective part(50), generating signal according to maximum pressure, optimum pressure and minimum pressure to keep vacuum of the vacuum chamber; and a microcomputer, turning on/off the vacuum pump according to output signal of the pressure detective part.
