DEVICE FOR CONTROLLING VACUUM REFRIGERATOR

PURPOSE: A device for controlling vacuum refrigerator is provided to prevent oxidation of stored food by oxygen in the air by discharging air in a food storage compartment to keep the food storage compartment vacuous. CONSTITUTION: A refrigerator includes a vacuum chamber(30) placed in a cold air passage(1) and having a space part storing food therein; a vacuum pump(40) discharging air in the vacuum chamber outward; and a control part control the vacuum pump to interlock with a compressor(2) turned on/off by temperature of a refrigerating compartment(10) or a freezing compartment of a freezing cycle. The control part comprises a microcomputer driving the vacuum pump when the compressor is operated and stopping the vacuum pump when the compressor is stopped.
