PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary hammer free from a twisting force being imparted to a material at the time of rotary hammering. SOLUTION: While a roller rack 4 holding a roller 5 is rotated at constant speed, a die holder 6 holding a hammer 7 and dies 8 is given index rotation (rotation in which rotating at a fixed angle and stopping are alternately repeated). The roller 5 is designed to climb over the hammer 7 while the die holder 6 stops rotating, so that the material is pressurized by the dies 8 during the stoppage of the rotation of the die holder 6.
