PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toe cap for footwear and the footwear using it being strong enough to be hardly deformed. SOLUTION: The toe cap is made of a synthetic resin and formed into a figure covering a toe part, comprising a top part 1, a shoulder part 4 for connecting both surrounding raising parts 2, 3 and 3 and a flange part 5 of a lower edge, wherein the surrounding raising parts 2, 3 and 3 are so structured that they evenly receive force applied onto the top part 1, and the flange part 5 is extended having approximately the same width to both sides of the raising parts to form a reverse T shape.
