PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a cast strip in twin roll strip casting process is provided to prevent micro-cracks of the cast strip by performing shot blasting under the proper conditions when manufacturing the cast strip using a twin roll strip caster on the surface of casting rolls of which dimples are appropriately formed. CONSTITUTION: In a method for manufacturing a strip cast using a twin roll strip caster on the surface of casting rolls(40) of which a plurality of hemispheric dimples having a diameter of 0.2 to 1.0 mm, a depth of 20 to 100 microns and a nearest-neighbor distance of 0.1 mm or less are formed, the method for manufacturing a cast strip(60) in twin roll strip casting process comprises the process of removing contaminants formed on the surface of the rolls(40) during casting by performing shot blasting on the surface of the rolls under the shot blasting conditions that a diameter of shot balls(100) is 0.05 to 1.5 mm, an air pressure is 2 to 10 bars, and an area ratio of shot is 30% or more, wherein the shot blasting is performed per each casting of about 600 to 1200 m of a strip cast length, the dimples are formed by shot blasting, a medium of the shot blasting is a spherical steel ball, a molten metal surface atmosphere during casting is a nitrogen gas atmosphere, and shot blasting for removing contaminants is performed by rotation of an impeller.
