QAM TRANSCEIVER WHICH HAS VARIABLE TRANSMISSION RATE

PURPOSE: A QAM(Quadrature Amplitude Modulation) transceiver which has a variable transmission rate is provided to make a data matching inter band flexibly by preparing a transmitter and a receiver respectively in an upstream and in a downstream. CONSTITUTION: A transmission convergence sub-layer unit(200) performs a frame process and an error correction of transmission data. A band splitting unit(202) distributes the transmission data into a plurality of band transmission process units(204,206). The plurality of band transmission process unit(204,206) perform a symbol encoding, a pulse shaping and an interpolation, and convert the transmission data into a passband signal. A synthesis unit synthesizes the passband signals output from the plurality of band transmission process units(204,206). A digital/analog conversion unit(208) converts the digital synthesis transmission data into an analog synthesis transmission signal.
