PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a projecting section small by reducing force in the bridge- axis rectangular direction working to one projecting section in a rubber bearing device for a bridge. SOLUTION: In the rubber bearing device for the bridge in which the projecting sections 5 for constraining the displacement of an upper structure H to a lower structure B in the bridge are unified or installed to a steel plate, on which a rubber bearing section 3 is mounted directly or through a member, to the left and the right in the bridge-axis rectangular direction of the rubber bearing section in which a rubber and a steel plate are laminated and fixed, both projecting sections 5 and 5 simultaneously resist against the force of action in the bridge-axis rectangular direction from the upper structure H.
