PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slip control device for a driving wheel of a vehicle, capable of suppressing excess control in quick acceleration or shift up, while using frictional force of a tire to the utmost. SOLUTION: During straight line running a vehicle, correction amounts VRCP, VRCL, VRCM, VRCH of the target value and the reference value of a driving wheel slip control are calculated, according to a gear position GEARP and coefficient of friction on road surface (S16-S18), and are added to the target value VRP and the reference values VRL, VRH, etc., (S19). During turn driving of the vehicle or in state of understeering, each correction value is set to zero, to ensure the stability of the vehicle. |
