PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent generation of vibration accompanying application of a braking power, and to enhance the comfort of cruising. SOLUTION: This invention is equipped with an engine 11, a generator motor 16 mechanically connected to the engine 11 and driving wheels, a control request determining processing means 91 which determines whether a request to put brake on a hybrid vehicle is made or not, and a torque control processing means 93 which stops the drive of the engine 11 and controls torque of the generator motor 16 when the request to brake the hybrid vehicle is made. When a request to brake the hybrid vehicle is made, the drive of the engine 11 is stopped and the torque of the generator motor 16 is controlled. A braking power can be generated by idling of the engine 11. |
