PURPOSE: A method and device for measuring consumption of toner for printer are provided to accurately measure consumption of toner by precisely calculating actual print data. CONSTITUTION: A device includes a data buffer control part(403) synchronized with video clock(VCLK) to convert print data input in multiple bit unit per pixel into bit values per pixel corresponding with equally divided level; an addition register(404) synchronized with the video clock to add bit value corresponding with level of print date converted in the data buffer control part and stored bit value and to generate a carry; a count part(405) counting carry value generated in the addition register; a multiplication part(406) multiplying the count value counted in the count part by a fixed multiple; and a count value storage part(407) storing the count value multiplied in the multiplication part to establish value measuring amount of toner.
