PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cold insulating container for barreled beer and the like which is superior in cold insulating characteristic and stability and which can be made small in size. SOLUTION: A pair of protrusive parts 8, 8 are formed at predetermined intervals in the peripheral direction of an inside wall. The parts 8, 8 form a storage part 14 for an item to be kept cold and an ice storage part 15. Barreled beer 2 is stored in the storage part 14 and ice 19 is filled in the ice storage part 15. The parts 8, 8 support the beer 2.
