<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developer and a developing method whereby sticking of carrier and fog are prevented, a high quality image having excellent dot reproducibility can be maintained for a long time, transfer efficiency is high for a long time from the beginning, and waste toner can be reduced. SOLUTION: In the two-component developer having at least toner and magnetic carrier, the magnetic carrier has sharp particle size distribution, is high in resistance (equal to or higher than 1012Ω.cm), and is as low as 30 to 100 emu/cm3 in magnetic force. The toner is a combination of toner particles the roundness of which is controlled and toner particles the surface ruggedness of which is controlled.</p> |
