摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical fine synthetic material having reduced temperature sensitivity, to provide an optical article such as a plastic lens which retains stability over a wide temperature range and to provide a method for producing the optical article having reduced temperature sensitivity. SOLUTION: The optical fine synthetic material has a fine particulate filler dispersed in a host plastic material. According to the method for producing the fine synthetic material, predetermined temperature sensitive optical vectors, such as refractive indexes of the plastic host material and the fine particulate filler are in the opposite directions, thus the fine synthetic material has significantly improved stability of the refractive index with respect to temperature.
