摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a concentration measuring method and a management method for water treatment chemical capable of rapidly and precisely performing the measurement of effective component concentration in the water of a water treatment system and also monitoring it, and a device therefor. SOLUTION: In this concentration measurement method and management method for water treatment chemical and the device therefor, in the measurement of the concentration of a water treatment chemical in the water treatment system, a sample containing the water treatment chemical is oxidized, and the difference between the electric conductivity before oxidation of the sample and the electric conductivity after oxidation thereof is detected by use of a differential conductivity gauge comprising electric conductivity measuring cells having at least two electrodes arranged in the position before oxidation and the position after oxidation, which outputs the difference between the own detection signals from both the electric conductivity measuring cells as the difference in electric conductivity of the sample between both the electric conductivity measuring cell positions, whereby the electric conductivity increase caused by the oxidation decomposition of the water treatment chemical is measured, and the concentration of the water treatment chemical in the sample is quantitatively determined from the electric conductivity increase.</p>
