<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storing container for an optically functional plate which can efficiently be transported without being bulky when the container is returned or is made to waste after the optically functional plate is taken out of it, and which requires no large space for storage. SOLUTION: The storing container is composed of a box 1 and a lid 7. The box 1, whose upper face is opened and whose peripheral wall 3 is provided upward from a periphery of a bottom plate 2 in such a manner as to be inclined outward, has a folded-back piece 5 which is folded back in an outwardly inclined manner from an upper end of the peripheral wall 3. The lid 7 for closing an opening 6 provided in an upper face of the box 1 comprises an upper skirt 9 which is inclined outward from a periphery of a top plate 8 and which is formed integrally with the top plate 8, a stepped portion 10 which extends outward from a periphery of the upper skirt 9 and which is formed in parallel with the top plate 8, and a lower skirt 11 which is inclined outward from a periphery of the stepped portion 10 and which is formed integrally with the stepped portion 10.</p> |
