<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus using an LED array capable of reducing generation of longitudinal streaks on images even when a light quantity distribution of an LED element array, an emission quantity of each LED element, a spot diameter, an imaging condition, etc., vary. SOLUTION: In the imaging apparatus for forming images by optical writing onto a photoreceptor drum by an LED array head 103 constituted of a lens array and the LED array 103 where many LED elements 305 controlled to be turned on according to image data are arranged linearly, an LED array control part 200 is constituted including a correction data storage part 224 in which correction data for obtaining a preliminarily set emission amount for each of the LED elements 305 is stored, a correction data conversion means 223 for reading out corresponding correction data for each LED element 305 from the storage part and keeping the read correction data for each LED element as it is or increasing/decreasing the read correction data, and a multi value conversion part 220 for controlling the operation of turning on each LED element with the use of data outputted from the correction data conversion means.</p> |
