MOLDINGS, AND METHOD AND EQUIPMENT FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide moldings and an efficient method and equipment for manufacturing the same which enable formation of an end cap having an excellent external appearance, even when the outer surface of the main body of the molding has an undercut part. SOLUTION: The molding 1 has the end cap 3 of a synthetic resin molded integrally with a terminal part of the molding main body 2 which is formed in a long shape out of a core material 4 constituted of a metal profile having an internal space 9 and of a resin part 5 integrated with the core material 4 and which has the undercut part 14 on the outer surface side and an opening part 8 communicating with the internal space 9 on the rear side. In the manufacturing method of the molding 1, the molding main body 2 is inserted into a cavity 24 of injection molding tools 21 and 22 and subjected to injection molding in a state of a stop member 23b of a slide core 23 being inserted into the undercut part 14, so as to form the end cap 3 having a transfer surface 15 of the stop member 23b of the slide core 23 in the undercut part 14.
