PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To securely lap various webs on a peripheral face of a heating roller and perform heat-treatment of the webs with high quality by a simple configuration. SOLUTION: A web heating device 10 is provided with the heating roller 24 induced and heated to heat the original web 14, and a uniform tension providing mechanism 30 for giving uniform tension in the direction of width to the original web 14 is arranged near the heating roller 24. The uniform tension providing mechanism 30 is arranged on the upstream side and the downstream side of the heating roller 24 and is provided with a first roller member 32a and a second roller member 32b whose outer peripheral faces can partially be expanded and shrunk.
