PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve ship safety by minimizing the scale of flooding and ensuring sufficient stability when a stem part of a ship having an ice breaking part formed at the stern part and going astern collides to suffer damage. SOLUTION: The stern part has a stern part collision bulkhead in a position corresponding to the position in a stem part where a watertight bulkhead is installed. The stern part collision bulkhead is installed in a position spaced from a stern end substantially over the same distance as the position of the watertight bulkhead installed in the stem part, as the position in the stern part corresponding to the position in the stem part where the watertight bulkhead is installed.
