PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide mounting structure for a molding of a back door which prevents rainwater or the like flowing down the molding from entering into a vehicle compartment at opening the back door. SOLUTION: A window frame (door panel) 1b is disposed on a door opening formed in a rear end face of a vehicle body, and has a window opening 1c. A window glass 8 having a width over an approximately full length in a vehicle width direction of the wind frame 1b is arranged on an exterior side face (surface) of the wind frame 1b to constitute a side opening type back door 1. When attaching a lip portion 12 extending from an upper frame portion 1b' (upper edge portion) of the window frame 1b to right and left side frame portions 1b" (side edge portions) and sealing a clearance between the window frame 1b and the door opening, and a molding 10 having a portion 11 attached to the back door, an upper side portion 10a of the molding 10 is adhered and fixed on a rear face of the upper frame portion 1b', and upper portions of right and left side portions 10b above the upper edge of the window glass 8 is adhered and fixed on rear faces of the side frame portions 1b", and lower potions of the right an left side portions 10b are interposed between surface of the side frame portions 1b" and the window glass 8.
