<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a moisture absorbing/desorbing cement board having moisture conditioning function which makes the cement board highly expected to be used as an interior material for a building such as an internal wall material, a ceiling material, etc., and provide a method of manufacturing the same. SOLUTION: The cement board is a fiber-reinforced cement board which contains cement, a siliceous raw material, and a reinforcing-fiber as main compositional components and is made of a cement composition which includes no porous material and has a CaO/SiO2 ratio regulated to 0.55-0.65. Fine holes with a radius of <=280Åare formed in the cement board with a porosity of >=0.2 cc/g, and the moisture absorbing/desorbing quantity of the cement board is >=200 g/m3 at 25 deg.C.</p> |
