PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a substrate for a liquid crystal display panel, capable of arranging a fine light shielding layer with proper precision on the boundary part of coloring layers. SOLUTION: A reflection layer 3, composed of a metal thin film, is formed on a surface of a transparent substrate 2. The coloring layers 5 with a plurality of colors are formed on the surface of the reflection layer 3, with gaps 6 opened mutually between each another. Furthermore, metal thin films 7 are laminated and formed on the surfaces of the reflection layer 3 located on the gaps 6 between the respective coloring layers 5. |
